Our own Warren Blanch has taken the president’s position on the Murray Division Board.
Vice president is Marj McDonald, treasurer Pam Van Huiezen and secretary Ken Shields.

Our winter 2:4:2 competition has started and will be played every Tuesday at 12.30pm. Names to the club.
Excellent entries were received for the inaugural ‘Poore Bob’ pairs, held to honour the Queen’s Birthday celebrations.
The club thanks Bob Poore for his generous sponsorship.
The competition was keenly fought with visiting players from Tocumwal, Jerilderie, Finley RS, Cobram and Gosford clubs.
The greens were superb and players were able to produce their best shots.
Winners were Bob Ryan and Kevin Hovey (3 games, 48 points), while Bob Birthisel’s team (3/47) were runners-up. Third place was Lucy G and Mary from Jerilderie with 2 games.
Best scores: 1st game - Billy Smith 20 shots; 2nd game - G Haines 11 shots; 3rd game - B Cosgrove. Encouragement award to Ray and Nola Wood.
Steve Johnson ‘represented’ our Queen and made honorary ‘knighthoods’ to several members who had performed many tasks over time.
Thanks to those who helped with catering, especially the Poker players led by John Montgomery, and our greenkeeper for excellent greens, and all staff.
Social bowls on Thursday is attracting players to enjoy excellent conditions. Winners were Bob Poore, Ray Koschel and Betty Robinson.
Sunday morning is popular with the players also. Winners were Mike Henshaw and Marie Koschel.
A Sunday morning accumulator will start July 2 and will run for seven playing days, with players’ best five scores to count for the final awards.
The benefit evening on Friday, held to support ‘The ration challenge by the seven High School students’ (as featured in the SRN) was successful. Each of the students present spoke about the cause and the benefit to refugees. In total $836 was raised.
A benefit evening will be held this Friday to assist Finley Pony Club to provide essentials for members.
A trivia evening will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 6.30pm to assist St Joseph’s School. Bookings are being taken at the club.
Meals are available from 6pm on Friday and Thursday evenings. Friday’s members’ draw still stands at $1000 while the Sunday morning draw is at $500.
