Local business operators will have the opportunity to expand their skills and learn ways to improve operations at two workshops being hosted by Riverina Murray Business Enterprise Centre this month.
The first, ‘Squeezing the Most Out of Your Business’, will cover improving profitability, predictability and reliability by focusing on key financial and marketing knowledge.
BEC business adviser Rowena Jackson says this workshop is ideal for all businesses.
‘‘Squeezing the Most Out of Your Business provides a general overview of many aspects of business.
‘‘Even established businesses can learn something new, and sometimes making one small change can bring huge reward.’’
Squeezing the Most Out of Your Business will be held on Monday, May 29 from 6pm to 9pm, at the Tocumwal Golf and Bowls Club.
The second workshop, ‘Social Media - Back to Basics’, will address common mistakes made by businesses when utilising social media, as well as showing efficient and effective social media strategies to complement existing marketing strategies.
‘‘This workshop is primarily for beginners and will help develop a good grounding for anyone utilising social media in their business,’’ Ms Jackson said.
Social Media - Back to Basics will be held on Tuesday, May 30 from 6pm to 8pm, also at the Tocumwal Golf and Bowls Club.
The cost is $25 per workshop, which includes a free consultation with experienced Riverina Murray BEC advisers.
