The two U10 Finley teams who metin last year'sGrand Final won by 'Barcelona' 1-0.

There are a lot of things to be excited about if you are a soccer fan living in or around Finley at the moment.

Thanks to some generous donations of money and labour, the playing fields at the Finley Showground and Sporting Complex — the new home for soccer — are looking much greener.

Semi-permanent goals have been ordered and are expected to be ready to use for the start of the new competition on Saturday, April 29.

Last season there were over 300 kids registered with the Cobram Junior Soccer Association, with approximately 100 coming from Finley and surrounding towns.

If the number of new faces currently involved in the six week pre-season program in Finley is any indication, registrations for this upcoming season are likely to soar.

Games are held on Saturday mornings from 9.30am to midday, in either Finley, Cobram or Yarrawonga.

CJSA holds games for kids under-6 to under-14 and provides opportunities to be involved in representative tournaments in Albury and Shepparton.

Finley teams will assemble on Saturday, April 22 at a ‘meet the coach day’, followed by their first training session on Tuesday, April 25.

Registrations close April 9. Go tohttp://www.myfootballclub.com.au/index.php?id=38.

Instructions can also be found on the Cobram Junior Soccer Association Facebook page.
